Has EG reallly been tested this lan?

Not saying theyre frauds, but they had a easy group lets be real, I guess edg is a decent team, and drx who beat loud. But do we feel like they have faced a top 3 team yet? who people consider Fnc/PRX/Loud

(Not saying DRX isnt good but they looked in really bad form on lotus n trolled map veto imo)

I think EG CAN be higher than top 3 regardless.

TDLR: i dont think EG was tested enough imo, good map pool nice forms but maybe didnt face the best teams yet.

everyone on this site uses barn logic to decide who's the favorite, instead of doing an actual analysis of what team is favored based on mechanics, form, play style, coaching, etc they just look at who has beat who and try to use transitive property

like if this were the case liquid would've been favorites to stomp everyone at tokyo

Regardless of who comes from lower bracket, and regardless of who wins, at this point EG is a top3 team for 2023. After the top2 Tokyo and now Top3 Champs, there's simply no way around it

bro if you call facing a top 3 team being tested that's crazy lol. They shown in 2 lans they made top 3 soundly. Who else can really stop them? What if they beat PRX tmmr? Instead of focusing on the team playing them, just focus on their teamwork and gameplay. This is top 4 caliber quality at least.

first lan they showed amazing potential but they did have a lot of momentum and confidence going in + teams trolled and picked fracture every time against them. EG have not looked as good as they did in tokyo but I agree they are a top 4 team for sure. It's just hard to judge if they will do well or not since they have versed DRX who always go out of form in playoffs + they trolled map veto and also they versed edg who aren't that good and then ALSO they had the easiest group and had close maps with FUT.

Nope, they got easiest path to Upper finals. DRX/EDG are not even that good. FNC lost to a LOUD on form, and people acting like they suck.
PRX will mop the floor with EG.

DRX was their last test and i believe they have passed. they're consistent enough not to be called flukes. amazing how 3 months is enough for massive improvement.

Compared to Loud, definitely? They had to face Fnatic and PRX back to back. If ur point is that they're not deserving of top 4, its obvious they are, the way they threw DRX around like a ragdoll today (same team that just 2-0'd loud in this tourney). Other than that, I wud argue top 4 in terms of skill rn are PRX, EG, LOUD and FNC
