The problem with challenger finals

I think challenger finals is not a very good format, having one tournament decide all might lead to best teams not making it to masters.
i would much more like to have circuit points. for example you have 2 or 3 challengers where u get cricuit points. challengers finals is then made up with the finalists of all challengers and the remaining spots go to the highest circuit points teams. then challengers finals the winner gets to go to masters and the remaining spots could go to the highest circuit points. that would also make the challengers more competitive and fun to watch
it works similair in rocket league hope the format gets better

There's a reason the circuit points is for champions because challengers/masters are just qualifiers so riot doesn't need to go through so much hassle just for a qualifier

It's so much better this way. You want everyone to be selected in the last event, because it is temporally closest to Masters 3. You don't want to get some decent teams, that accumulate points throughout two challengers and then get to masters just based on that.

It adds complexity to a system, that is already fairly complex. Two simple double elim qualifiers into a final qualifier with double elim is just the cleanest way, especially in a game where the mechanics and fundamentals are constantly changing and teams need to adapt throughout challengers. You want the teams that have adapted until the challengers finals to qualify if they win.
