LOUD is Innocent

A lot of people on this forum have been straight up waffling about the LOUD org

“They are scummy for not giving Aspas a raise”

What? How?

An e-sports org has to manage its finances so it can stay afloat in its market, it can either function in a healthy budget, or in an overpriced budget, which leads to budget cuts and layoffs.

Loud operate on Brazil, which means their main currency is BRL, Brazilian Reais.
Of which 5 BRLs = 1 Dollar

Now in a regular market of orgs LOUD has a disadvantage due to currency, but considering the sheer IDIOCY the Sentinels case exposed, not only does loud have to match offers five times larger, the offers are also disgustingly high, listen to Ardiis commenting about how expensive his contracts were.

If Aspas wants more money, there are dysfunctional orgs out there for him, but the moment the scene goes through any sort of turbulence, he will get the Yay treatment.

Also, duelists are the easiest roles to replace, there are hundreds of cracked duelists in ranked and tier 2/3

Majority of players in the esports scene, especially Valorant are definitely being paid too much. I'm not saying that the organizations should take that pay away from them but it only provides the incentive that they have the money to sustain these salaries. Many orgs are already becoming unprofitable because of how much money they burn.

However, we can't make up a solid argument saying that Loud is scummy for not giving Aspas a raise since we don't know how much money was being requested for. It does make sense though since he is 100% their best and most known player.

Not their best player

Their most valuable player is Saadhak
And Less as a closed second

Aspas is recognizable yes.

But Saadhak is who makes rookie players into franchise material, he is both the captain and the “coach” needs

what saadhak does is actually magic, i strongly believe no other igl could make rookies into what they are right now, chaadhak is the goat fr

it isn't about matching others offers
you give him a raise out of respect for him
at the time he asked for it he was considered by many to be the best player in the world along side derke
if loud gave him a small raise and an other org gave him a bigger raise do you think he'll leave ? no

Why give the best player a raise, if you already don’t take any percentage of tournament wins?
Did you know that? The Loud players get full winnings of the prizes, the org makes up for the “loss” in media earnings
It’s basically
“We will give you a stable salary and living, but your reward for your top level status will be your tournament win prizes”
Its an incredible model

okay after hearing this the org doesn't so bad it's actually a good model but my pointstill stands a small raise for mental is kinda necessary if the team wasnt performing they would cut their salaries for sure
can you explain the "not letting them have agents" part ?

From what I’ve read it’s precisely to stop contract inflation, since there is no 3rd party getting a cut of the budget.
Its a weird requirement but financially makes sense
