KCorp's win is only the third the team has secured since LOCK//IN, but is one of the most important steps in their EMEA LCQ run. The team now moves on to the double-elimination portion of the qualifier, meaning they can afford at least one loss tomorrow.

And yet, their third win almost never came. BBL punched through five consecutive match points, as Turko even scored a 1v4 and an ace to reach overtime on the final map. But the Frenchmen pulled through in overtime, finding a 14-12 win that pushed them over the line.

Turko's nine kills in two rounds shot him up the scoreboard, leaving him to finish the map with a 1.04 rating after already reaching a similar number on the previous map, Lotus.

Karmine Corp looked set to win Haven, heading to the buy rounds of the second half with a 10-6 lead. They quickly ran out of steam, and BBL clawed back to eventually tie the map at 11-11, taking control in overtime for a 14-12. KCorp comfortably won their own Lotus pick 13-9, triggering the Bind decider that they hadn't played this year yet.

ScreaM's men brought new comps to both of the first two maps. On Haven, the team opted to go for a double-controller comp with Omen and Harbor. On Lotus, they reverted to a comp similar to the one the team used at LOCK//IN, but used Breach in favor of the Omen-Viper duo.

As KCorp had not yet played Bind this season, this marked the team's third new comp of the day. Putting ScreaM on Raze appeared to pay off, as he dropped 31 even in the face of a seven-round comeback. Ultimately, KCorp took the 14-12 win that closed out the match.

ScreaM's consistent performance throughout Bind gave him the best statline of the match. The Headshot Machine also accrued nearly 350 ACS, 10 opening frags and over 250 ADR in one of his best performances lately.

But it was his brother Nivera who averaged out the match with the highest rating, at 1.28. Despite that, the most impressive numbers still belonged to ScreaM; throughout the series, he averaged nearly 300 ACS, 200 ADR and downed 75 players. Of those, an astronomical 21 were first bloods. The next-best player was Nivera, at 11 opening frags.

Ladies and gentlemen, Turko.

BBL failed to climb the KCorp mountain once more, and their season has been brought to an end by the Frenchmen. The Turkish squad struggled greatly in the opening weeks of VCT EMEA, but bounced back with three wins after switching up their coaching staff. BBL would eventually, alongside KCorp, miss out on playoffs and be relegated to the LCQ.

For KCorp, however, everything is now on the line. It's the second time the Frenchmen have bested BBL — they beat them 2-1 in the opening week of VCT EMEA — and KCorp are now in a much safer place for the LCQ. The winner of the upper semifinals will still need another victory to reach Champions, as two of EMEA's teams will travel to Los Angeles.
