I confess that I really feel like I understand today why the scrimbux are called scrimbux, and I really understand what that means.
This is because I totally believed the Americas scrimbux at VLRforum this past week, and I was totally convinced that SEN would easily pass the LCQ.

Your mistake was giving scrims any importance. They don’t mean shit. Scrims are just used to create strategies, test out comps and create anti strats for certain situations. You’d be surprised to hear that 80 percent of the strats that are practiced in scrims doesn’t even get used in an actual match. That’s why it’s important to have a proper igl who could improvise on the strat that was practiced

i think Americas LCQ is the proof that scrims doesnt matter, not even to building expectations in a tournament

I remember seeing someone said "its over for every team, keznit went god mode" or something along the line based on scrims results

Teams arent trying to win in scrims they are trying out new stuff and fix the old stuff, Scrim results dont matter, its what they learn from the scrims that matters, you could also make a case that teams losing scrims are learning more from the scrim than the teams winning
