I feel you, but somehow I came to the conclusion that the problem is that in Brazil there is not so much difference between environment and age, apart from the fact that most 16yo are already at university here and consequently go to parties and various other things, consequently meeting older people, I think this does not happen in the United States, I believe that in the US someone older will not meet someone younger that easily as here, that's why some things are more normalized than where you live.
I could be wrong tho.
But that's what I could view, also you guys was no idea what people around 14+ already does here during funk party etc.

Cara, você sabe que nas universidades do BR o que mais tem é gente de 16-17 anos ou vc tá vivendo na disney ou vc é sulista.
Ao menos no nordeste é infestado de gente de 16 anos cursando como q eu to mentindo?

Eu apenas falei sobre o ambiente pq no BR é comum você ir pra universidade com 16-17 anos e conhecer pessoas da sua sala que tem 20+ anos e consequentemente você vira amigos, etc.

Isso não acontece nos EUA de forma alguma comparado aqui por isso eles tem essa diferença de "ambiente" que a gente não tem tanto.

Eu só estava explicando essa visão para ele já que ele disse que pessoas de diferentes idades estão "vivendo" em outro estágio da vida e consequentemente não se conhecem.
E não, isso não é minoria, é oq mais tem.
