i'm thinking to buy laptop gaming rn. should i wait for a few months to wait 40 series release globally or buy the 3050 rn? help.

fyi, lenovo ideapad gaming 3i i5 12500h with rtx 3050 is around 903 dollar

for fps games GPU isn't too much of an issue, the cpu is more important. But yea the gaming laptop is good especially it's easily upgradable for future. I don't know the Hertz on the computer but I'd recommend an asus laptop but lenovo is alright too.

I'd say go for the 30 series, for what I see the 40 series won't be magnificent and will be a lot more expensive.

A 3060 3070 should be plenty for your use ~ and I'm pretty sure they're gonna be cheaper than those with the new GPUs

Been laptop gaming since a lot of years since I was in college. Its not worth it, the laptops get old and never can compete with the pcs. If there's a possibility you can get a pc then I'd suggest to save up and get a pc
