The fourth iteration of Red Bull Home Ground is set to take place later this year in Tokyo, Japan.

The latest edition of Red Bull's unique tournament should follow in the footsteps of 2022's event, when American teams were invited for the first time, and invite teams from abroad once more. The event will also be hosted offline, Red Bull confirmed, instead of being played in-person on online servers.

Home Ground 4 will take place between November 3 and 5. Last year's event was also hosted across three days — the first day was reserved for the group stage, while the playoffs were split between the weekend days.

The event wil be hosted in the Ryōgoku Kokugikan, a venue owned and used by the Japan Sumo Association. The arena can hold up to 11,000 people, 2000 more than Masters Tokyo's Makuhari Messe held.

The Home Ground tournaments became notable for their unique format, where every elimination match was a Bo5 and each team picked a "home" map. Should a team win both home maps, they will immediately win the match; if not, the series would continue. Last year, however, Red Bull dropped the format in the place of conventional Bo3 and Bo5 matches.
