viewership is a concern

This might be the worst tournament in terms of viewership. We haven't even cracked 700k yet.

This shows that you cannot just completely ignore 3 entire continents. Those being your biggest ones in terms of viewership πŸ‘ŽπŸ»

Whatever riot , learn from your mistakes next time.

Idk The crowd in Japan was awesome to see casters were good and also according to many players this was their best crowd experience so far. I do understand internet viewership would be low considering 2 continents can't see due to time probs but still I feel it's a really good tourney

I believe there's more people affected by this tourney's time zone compared to when it's in America or Europe. Champions should do much better. Even then, I'd say its doing good, especially the crowd.

That is because of the timezones
Rito should hold an event in sydney the next time

Riot didn't ignore the three other continents. They deliberately chose Tokyo as a way of giving back to the Japanese fans. Leo Faria, head of VALORANT esports already said it.

At this point it is safe to say they won't care that much on online viewership and in my opinion is great because that's how you market VALORANT to a diverse audience.

this masters makes me sad, i really want to watch the games but i want to sleep too. waking up at 4 am to watch some folks play and barely hear the crowd feel sad. i understand that they want to make pacific fans happy, but this schedule is not it, and also the viewership is so much lower than the other masters and i cant imagine the sponsors are happy with that.

online viewership is less but live crowd is way better than any of the past tournaments.
