We'll find out tomorrow.

Regardless of the result, it'll be possible to appropriately rate them after they play Fnatic.

I dont think tokyo is a tourney to meansure that, they will keep the flow until the end of it
Want to see in champs and next year

i think given they keep playing at this rate, they make it to grand finals minimum, but they looked quite shaky against Team Liquid in the 2nd map yesterday, so maybe they are showing some cracks now

it had more to do with the map rather than the teams ability

I mean their duelist wasnt performing and it was a map they dont like to play and it was still +4.

People were saying fnc dominated on fracture with the same scoreline.

This is just false though, no team which is "bad on a map" would go 11-13 against nrg on it and 10-13 against loud on it, that doesn't exactly say "oh btw we are bad on the map" and those games are 1-2 months ago now, when EG were still figuring stuff out, they are not as bad on haven as all the analysts say

yeah and when people said "fnatic dominated" they did dominate, but no one mentioned the cracks they were showing while dominating, that's what other teams like NRG and Fnatic will take advantage of against EG, because they are good enough to do so, when i was watching 1st map vs TL there were HARDLY any cracks at all in the gameplay or their chain, same with the loud game and it showed through the dominance of the game, but in the 2nd map they didn't look nearly as clean cut against TL, and it may just of been them getting complacent, but it's still smtn to note for the future nonetheless

I think in general their haven playbook is a bit newer and not as deep as their ascent, fracture, split or pearl.

That's fair to say, but the point I'm making isn't about how good they are or how good they could be, it's about the possibilities that other top tier teams that are hungry for the trophy will find and take advantage of, i've noticed sometimes on haven, for example EG knew that TL was coming a first round for some reason, i couldn't tell u but if u look at the vod of it, at 1:50 in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWIO1JfMmP4 demon1 runs out the smoke without anything, then jawgemo and ethan push short late as the sova does nothing on long and they just get bailed out because c0m hits probably one of the nuttiest clips of the year so far, put a team like nrg or fnatic in tl's shoes and they decimate that hold from EG, because it was frankly awful

Yes I agree, their pistols/ult executes on haven look much worse than those on their 3 great maps. What bailed them out this map was good midrounding and defaulting imo.
