By season did u mean act or episode?
you get the buddy for the highest rank in an entire episode so you have to be iron in one act and then either not play the whole episode or just dont hit bronze

I could of gotten the iron buddy in act 1 I was iron 1 for the entire act until I hit bronze like 5 days before the act ended
