After now watching their match with cgrs i really don’t see them not finishing top 3 at champs with something, i mean look at what EDG are doing with a similar chaotic playstyle (even less chaotic then PRX still.) I don’t see a team beating them (w something) other then EG/FNATIC rn who are both super util heavy/counter strat heavy teams. when they play with something i don’t expect that to change come champs.

it is not because of place it’s because how limited time there is, us russians it takes a lot of time to secure all that so it’s just because of him not having enough time.

DRX just isn't good anymore they have some internal issues, everyone thought DRX was top 4 itw but in reality that team has same issue NaVi core has which is teams can just anti to hell because they've been around forever. PRX isn't the favorite vs any other team remaining so I wouldn't say top 3. Still impressive if they're competitive with FNATIC and NRG but probably won't be without something.

classic pacific fans over expecting things. just let things fold out and keep supporting your team. no need to get so ahead of yourselves that you expect your team to come top 3 in a tournament that still has 2 months left to happen. this type of expectation can only lead to disappointment

top 4 is incredible already, i don’t bet on them going farther tho. CGRS and prx should be so extremely happy seeing without their star player they’re still competitive internationally

I feel like this has something to do with the practice culture. So many players/team said scrimming chinese teams in asia always have benefit as they took it SERIOUSLY.

CN teams play from approx 10-11am to about 1-2am (with about 6-7 scrim maps + theory + VOD + ranked).

When I see PRX in Korea they finish scrim daily around 6pm and classic SEA tourist Korean BBQ/ go out exploring town/Karaoke till 10pm. Yes PRX are top team in pacific and think they can run the league w DRX only competition, but Chinese teams takes practice culture SUPER SERIOUSLY. Heck even T1 scrim till 11pm. It probably East Asia - SEA culture.

practice culture is way different because players in major regions have to worry about career longevity. in na things are volatile, one bad result in most esports and your done. So they stream and focus on personal branding more then putting in hours to be the best. In csgo when we had to play an american team we would always be ahead strategically, i’ve always said NA has the most talented individuals in the world but we will never see na dominance until results>individual brand.
