Indians Come.

I have been seeing these sudden narratives that the return of PUBGM is about to kill the Valorant Scene in India so here are my two scents:

No game/esports succeeds solely because of the ban of some other game. PUBGM community did help in marketing Valorant to the indian gaming communtiy but it only sustained because people liked playing and watching it. If it was always about being a replacement until PUBGM returned then there were already other alternatives like New State which are even closer to PUBGM in terms of gameplay. The current drop in viewership has more to do with absence of fan favorites GE and VLT from the regional scene for now. These narratives that the scene is about to die is not only false but also harmful as it may rather act as a catalyst and give this negative impression to future orgs/investors/sponsors which in turn might actually kill it for real, so be responsible and stop panicking. There were these same narratives last time PUBGM returned too, did Val die then ? No. Instead more Tier 1 orgs like Orangutan and Gods Reign entered the scene.
