It's fine to say there SHOULD be a fundamental basis for human rights, but at the same time, the human rights in countries like Saudi Arabia will be different from the U.S, Countries like India are culturally very very different than a country such as the U.S.

In Saudi Arabia it's much more tolerant to men being in power and women being the housewives, not because it's better or worse, just because it's the accepted norm, While in the U.S people are fighting so much against that fact that it's actively getting oppressive on males and overexaggerating a lot of things to seem like things they are not.

I get the point, but whether u like it or not, different places are at different places in history and sadly, we need to accept that, whether we like it or not, because they are not the same as us, and that's also okay, just because your friends do not have the exact same views as you, you don't try to change them to suit you, i don't think this should be any different with countries either.

you are explaining the obvious. i am saying that there is a threshold for ideas that can be acceptably excused under the veil of moral relativism

a culture where men are dominant and women do a caretaking role? a bit odd to me but i won't exert my opinion on it. that's just their culture.

a culture where people are literally stoned to death because of their religion? this is no longer a conversation of culture. human rights extend beyond this obfuscative hand waving of "different country different culture"

it is a core human right to be yourself, if you disagree with this in any way you are supporting the regimes that advocate against it

As I said, it's cultural my bro.

Life is valuable? Yes of course.
But see that in history some people prefer to die for honor.
Would you think that is worth dying for honor (nowdays)? Probably not.

Since you value life above everything, but for some cultures life is not above to several other things, like family, honor, prestige, etc.
In some cultures have people prefer to suicide if they do shameful acts like stealing, cheating, etc.

If people really thought that life was really important and it was "invaluable" hospital and a lot of things would be free, but even so, our lives are not that valuable at all.

Just remember that there are people who would rather take their own lives than live a shameful life, It's cultural thing.
What you consider "killing someone" in some cases can be the same as "suicide"

Anyway brother I'll stop answering this, thanks.
