Riot and Twitch have revealed Twitch Rivals: VALORANT Launch Showdown, a $200,000 prize pool opening weekend tournament that will crown champions in each region where VALORANT servers currently operate.

A Twitch blog announcing the event the tournament will include content creators from North America, Brazil, Latin America, Europe, Korea and Japan.
VALORANT is set to launch on Tuesday, June 2. The Twitch blog post says the tournament will take place on opening weekend.
Neither Riot nor Twitch have made clear the number of teams participating nor exactly how the prize pool will be distributed between regions and teams within individual regions.
