Theory is that niesoW got busted cheating, riot made him sign an NDA and leave the scene. He was upcoming and strong so for him there was literally no point to retire outta nowhere. Riot didn't want to give bad publicity to their anticheat letting a player win the first good tournament so that's why he wasn't publicly banned
