Im a big tenz fan but his situation kinda seems like everyone is sympathizing with him without looking at what happened. Hes only in contract jail because he decided to leave the team when they were starting to rebuild, c9 got leaf then xeta and now theyre a top roster with big potential. I do feel bad for him but he kinda left when it got tough, thoughts?

he left when he got tired of feeling like he couldnt do anything too help anymore and there was no guarantee that the new roster would be good plus streaming is a great alternative in so many ways i dont blame him he did what he wanted too

he ditched his team (C9) when they are not performing well, using excuse as don't want to play on high ping and online. I have no sympathy for TenZ whatever happen next

+1 he is being treated as a hero because he won the tournament.
He quit on c9 for being bad and now people are mad c9 will not sell him to sentinels.
He got a good contract from c9, built his own c9 team (which was trash) and was allowed to become a content creator for c9 when he stopped liking his team.
if anyone has the reason to be mad it is c9

i mean who's fault is it for giving him complete control of the roster? thats the most braindead decision imaginable

My point is that c9 has treated tenz like a god, even let him build his own roster
Now that he wants to leave and c9 wants to make a big return on their investment, people are acting like c9 are the devil.

I don't think c9 or tenz are doing anything bad but people acting like Tenz has been abused by c9 when c9 has gave him so much good things is crazy

prob didnt want play for 5 korean coaches just to get shit on by a team in their boxers. He left for the same reason as Relyks, doesnt like how the team is handled by the org.

I don't like Tenz so my opinion might be baised... but if u don't hire a lawyer for ur contracts then ur just stupid.... the Tfue situation happened like 2 years ago... u would think Tenz would learn something from that

I mean I actually like TenZ no fanboy but from what I've seen his decision making isnt his strength he's the talent not the IGL type -- I dunno mb Im wrong

TenZ made a bad decision with signing such a long contract with C9, but the assumption that he "left when the going got tough" Is kind of misleading, seeing as how he stuck with C9 for all of 2020 and they never got a first place finish at an A-tier event, and benched himself to pursue content creation, noting that he'd consider coming back for Lans. He did exactly that, just with Sentinels.

He didn't come back for Lans for Sentinels tho... he came back last masters which was an online event 😐

He came back March 11th, Masters Reykjavik was accounced March 1st. A lan was announced and Sentinels offered for him to sub in with the ability to start the qualifying process for the first international Lan and he jumped on it.

he didnt bench himself for the ping issue he was talking about because if he did why would he play with sentinels online in the first place? he benched himself cause the team wasnt working and he didnt wanna rebuild once his igl got kicked

I mean the guy took an unique opportunity to play with a team that was already the best team around -- I can't blame him for wanting to win, I know he's not one to act like he cares but winning almost always feels better than the alternative. As a Sentinels fan I'm also appreciative to c9 and him for making this happen even if c9 did it for business reasons, cant blame a business for being a business.

How much longer is his contract ?

1 year and 10 months I think. The contract was 3 years long.

Lowkey agree. Timing was convenient but to be fair he did want a chance to win and at least he did it for NA
