Can we expect changes on Competitive format?

So do you think we can expect in the future some sort of rework to the competitive scene where teams get to ban certain Agents just like they do with maps and in League?

I'm not too sure about it but I feel like some players would really be left out if this turnt out the new format since many of them are One-Trick Agents.

this idea is shit as it destroys the strats the igl and coach worked on and makes the game more boring as it would just be like a random ranked game

100% Pick-Bans will be a thing in the future. I think the devs said they atleast wanted 20 agents for that to happen. But...

Until they choose that format, they should have the players in each team take turn in picking agents AND being able to see the opponents agent picks at the same time.

Also, I still would like to see a 16 round-wins, just because every pro knows and have be vocal about how 50/50 the pistol is and if u lose both, it means u basically lost 4 rounds without being able to do much in a 13-round-win format. It's too tight!

Why? I can think of more problems with it being 13 rounds.. For example; the spawns in the beginning of the rounds are not set fast like in CS, but rather u can have 5 people being close to one side of the wall with the plan to insta rush 1 site.. and that round will take like.. 20sec? And these rounds are NOT uncommon in Pro matches either. That's why... 13 feels to short with how the economy & spawns are now.

Not true lmao, this will just add an extra layer of planning and preparation.

The effect of pistols has been greatly reduced as compared to CS. Reworkibg it to first to 16 isn't required.

Would it be necessary to take time for picks tho? Like do you imply there would only be 1 agent per game and whatever team picked it first would capitalize on it?

Honestly I would guess that they would only limit 1 ban for each type of agent like 1 duelist, 1 sentinel, 1 controller, etc for the teams

That would make sense, otherwise we could find some situations where we'd have let's say all duelists/sentinels/etc banned for a single game

Unless of course you had 10 choices for each category

yeah but they should wait until like there are alternatives to meta agents like viper and astra and then implement the ban system

if you dont prepare for ban, then yeah it will be like a random ranked game. But for any good team, they will have plan with different comp judging by what they think opponent will ban
