most of the big gun manufacturers have people help games design realistic gun physics and sounds and they take royalty for it. Like COD and even CS have to pay gun manufacturers for the physics and sounds of weapons like AK47. If a game just imitates a realistic gun on its own, it leaves room for legal problems from the gun manufacturers
