I'm having a feeling that Valorant is not really profitable for BR teams as of now and they don't have the liquidity to stay on such longterm investments.

yesterday, I said BR Valorant scene is not doing good in the Imperial disband thread, and I got downvoted. Today you see Pain gaming disbanded.

this was my comment yesterday: https://www.vlr.gg/post/53190/imperial-disband

Prob you are being downvoted because we all see you in almost EVERY post related to brazil trying to underestimate brazilians teams. At the moment val scene is doing relative good for one year, but the future depends on some variables

It is profitable, these are tier 3 teams. The thing is that competitive scene here in brazil is already set, you have the big four: Vikings, Gamelanders, Furia and Sharks. Any org that wishes to enter the competitive scene now will have to find talents, coaches and it's hard to find now, we have a lot of good players scattered on bad teams like heat and Shion in Havan Liberty, Aspas in Slick and there's not much good coaches left, to have an idea, I don't even think Sharks have a coach, I trink Fra does everything.

It is profitable only for the top teams bro, and that isnt a good sign. HL isnt a bad team, they GH are by far the best among the top teams and they managed to get top 4 in the challengers final. Sharks have FX as coach

''It is profitable only for the top teams bro'' Hmm yes? I don't get it, you want free money for bad teams? That's how it is, get better or stay behind.

For better teams to emerge orgs need to invest in longterm projects, if there isnt money to do that many orgs will not invest and it will hurt new talents to emerge and tier 2 teams to become tier 1. There isnt big orgs in Brazil like Furia that can just get a team of superstars

People expect Valorant to be profitable at this early stage is so delusional tbh. There are still no regional/domestic Leagues/Franchised etc so orgs won't risk their investment in long term plans.
