Korea only 1 Slot in VCT

Why did Korea only get one slot? They have a lot of good teams just curious

Probably still considered a minor region, they don't have as many teams competing as EU, NA or Brazil

I don't understand why ppl wants to take away spot from other regions and give to another. This masters just have 10 spots ... In Berlin is 16 teams, and KR, JP, SEA all of them have 2 spots ... Stop crying ...

I think its viewership/active players, I may be wrong tho.

KR doesn’t have that big of a player base or viewership and that’s mostly what the slots are based off of rn.

OCE did get put in with NA. Our EXO clan moved to NA and changed to Soniqs purely after qualifying for the NA VCT challengers.

If it were an audience, Turkey would have 2 slots

They dont deserve more than 1 lol, a team going 100-0 says all you need to know about Korea, no competition and pretty weak teams overall. Even if VS was the one going to Iceland they would get destroyed just because they arent used to playing against strong teams and korean teams just let them get away with everything, they get all map control without the other teams contesting. Korea kinda dog
