One Trick or Flex

I'm beginning to get back into the game and a thought had crossed my mind. I pushed Diamond in the past as a fill/flex role and played a little T3 in different roles just for background info. But in your opinion, should I one trick an agent like sova (or initiators as a group) or does filling in your ranked games better for preparation for competitive play? I'd like to hear thoughts on what I should do and why it should be one way or the other.

I play Omen on all maps except Icebox, Pearl and Fracture where I play Viper, Fade, and Cypher respectively.

I prefer one tricking but its good to have a broad agent pool incase your one trick gets taken
