Br brings football culture in esports tournaments, no news here, brazil always will have football culture crowd in any tournament, anyone rembember the 2016 olympics tennis matches?

Looks like brazilians dont know how to cheer diferrently for other competitions, funny thing is, this same behavior happens in europe all day in football matches, why EU ppl act like this kind of behavior is something that is exclusive to Brazil, its not, this is football culture

They call us victimists and sensitive (what sometimes is true). When they spend a whole tournament of almost 1 month talking about the crowd that doesn't affect them at all. I mean, until last year, there weren't even any crowd and now that they do, they complain. Not even the Fnatic players were as hurt by what happened as they were, if you look at LOUD's twitter, the Fnatic and LOUD players even took pictures and celebrated together. When they break out of their Eurocentric bubble and discover that they're not the center of the world, I think their minds will explode.

I don't have anything to do with CS GO fans, i am a valorant fan. Don't put all the fans in the same boat, it's 2 differents games to differents crowds, people who did that were penalized

"When they spend a whole tournament of almost 1 month talking about the crowd that doesn't affect them at all. I mean, until last year, there weren't even any crowd and now that they do, they complain"
"Don't put all the fans in the same boat"

this guy reeks of hypocrisy honestly

Where is the hipocrisy here because I can't see, i talked about to don't pull all the brazilians fans in the same boat, valorant fans are one, and cs go fans are other types of fans. I think you missundertstood my thread here.

Cs go fans are much more "nationalists" (not literally, but they are too one sided to Brazil) than valorant ones

don't put all european fans into the same boat then, not every single of them calls you "victimists and sensitive", neither do all of them "spend a whole tournament of almost 1 month talking about the crowd that doesn't affect them at all"

i wish the same can be said about the BR crowd (not all of them are the same), but the "not cheering or showing respect for other teams" bullshit has already happened twice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8U0agWL-to, like if cadian and the other heroic players need to bring a flag to show that they still support you guys to respect them but they don't, something isn't right

Have you ever seen the stands empty while the trophy is being lifted in a football match? this is exactly what people criticize

difference is that with football you always have traveling fans, but for example dutch cup final is split basically 30/30 (neutral)/30. But if one team wins the other fans are not sticking around mate, that makes no sense. Only the neutrals stay. But nobody travels for esports so there are no neutrals

In club matches when the away team beat the home team this always happen.

International matches are diferrent though

It's not. "People" just look for excuses to complain about the Brazilian crowd, since day one there was a bunch of "critics" even though there was no trophy to be lifted yet. From my point of view it's way more bad having a silent crowd (like we ALWAYS have in EU, just look at every event that we had there) than not having the rival crowd popping off to cheer for the team who beat them down

ah yes a "silent crowd"

EU crowd cheering when FPX won: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ey8oJ_xUpYs
EU crowd cheering when LOUD won AND stayed when they lifted the trophy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJ-jNBME49Y
EU crowd cheering when f0rsaken got the first ace with a live audience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjetljxCyXE
EU crowd cheering when DRX clutched a 2v4 against FPX: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzCsyMZvvFM

im not talking to you im talking to the guy who said "From my point of view it's way more bad having a silent crowd (like we ALWAYS have in EU, just look at every event that we had there)"

also having a biased crowd doesn't make it a good crowd, at least cheer for the opponents when they make a good play or even better show some fucking respect when they win, i know you're heartbroken about the loss and passionate about your crowd but don't be surprised when you get criticized for just straight up leaving

Since day 1 many people including me were also defending crowd because they were doing fine nothing wrong with supporting home team everybody here is talking about how they left after they lost the game that's straight disrespect that cause of all this chaos

its straight up a dickhead move

if turkish/EU fans stayed and even cheered when a team from your country won champs what right do you have to not show respect to other regions when they lift a trophy?

I legit defended the BR crowd every day, you can look through my replies. Booing during walkout was weird , even that is fine tbh. But not even staying when the winners are lifting the trophy, literally 2 minutes after the game is just fucked and unexplainable
