Iceland Masters Format

1)Every team plays each other : very hectic schedule for hosts, not easy to host 9 matches everyday(given 24-30 May)
2)Two groups of 5 teams each consisting of 1 each from NA,EU,BR other regions can be divided randomly-5 days(24-28 May)
Top team from each group goes to semis directly while second and third play quarter finals on 6th day (29 May)
30th May- Finals

I'd like 2) but slightly different and bigger. 1st place goes to semis, 2nd goes to quarter finals and 3rd/4rd goes to a playoffs into quarterfinals.

Overall
2 groups of 5. Group A and Group B. Round robin. Bo3's.

Playoff¹: 3A vs 4B (Bo3 / Bo5)
Playoff²: 3B vs 4A (Bo3 / Bo5)

QF¹: 2A vs P² (Bo3 / Bo5)
QF²: 2B vs P¹ (Bo3 / Bo5)

SF¹: 1A vs QF² (Bo5)
SF²: 1B vs QF¹ (Bo5)

GF: SF¹ vs SF² (Bo5)

nah, way too long a playoff and also just one win shouldn't award playoffs. make it the format ESL or DH use in CS:
QF1: 2A vs 3B
QF2: 2B vs 3A

SF1: 1A vs QF2
SF:2 1B vs QF1

GF: SF1 vs SF2

maybe add a 3rd place match

if 1) then bo1 else about 14 hrs per day gaming which wouldnt be feasible for hosts
if 2) b03 can be done easily with 4 matches per day 2 from each group

I think double elim might be a possibility we would have:
17 BO3 in 6 days ~ 3 matches per day aprox.
1 BO5 in 1 day
