Ngl I think this site needs to fix its ranking system. V1 is good and have impressed everyone this tourney, but ain't no way they are 2nd in NA. This is the same thing that happened with FaZe being labeled best team in NA during Masters before Sentinels slapped them, Luminosity being labeled top 3 teams in NA after winning NSG Winter Championship beating Sentinels. GenG aswell when they finished 3rd in Masters. Teams like Soniqs, TSM and Renegades have no business being as high as they are too

Yeah, it's mad how TSM and Luminosity are still in the top 10 even though they've been bad for a few months now, especially TSM. What has Soniqs done aswell to warrant themselves in the top 10, why is XSET so low, so many more

Because apart from this tournament, they haven't really won anything significant? In terms of recent form yeah they're probably top 2/top 3. But you don't just become the best team in NA after one good tournament. Similar to FaZe and how they rose to 2nd after finishing 2nd in Masters. Then in stage 2 they failed to qualify for both Challengers' closed qualifier. Simply said, V1 haven't been consistent enough to be top 2

NRG and XSET have been decent for a while now, yet they're both below TSM, Renegades and Soniqs who's done nothing for months. Immortals aswell should be higher than the 3 teams

SEN is top 1 for sure but for me top 2 is a toss up between V1 NV and C9, they seem to be on the same level

it's because the system is fcked, it gives +50, 60, 70 for a "major" tournament like challengers finals but only +10, 20 for a "minor" one like challengers qualifiers... yes teams try harder at more important tournaments but it's not nearly such a big difference, 1.25 multiplier at most, not fcking 4x bigger rating change.

They need to update the rankings periodically, so a team can be held accountable for multiple tournaments
