that`s not how it works WACC... for sure...
You're more judged by your "fame" and not "diploma" itself.
diploma will help? ofc, if you has literally 0 fame.
but nowadays you can easily see some random people in TikTok earning way more by just doing funny stories of his profession since he get views + more people wanting to hire or to do collab in some work stuffs.

You need to be of value to other people, does a diploma value you? Yes.
But the time you waste to get the degree and the money that you spent, you could have done 4x more.

bro thinks because he worked at a game company as a designer with 0 exit opps means u dont need a degree 😂

I know a lot of tiktok influencers in my friend circle, they make peanuts compared to the people who landed jobs at the right places

But the time you waste to get the degree and the money that you spent, you could have done 4x more.

Again, you're comparing your country where is known to not pay well in TikTok or YouTube compared to other countries....

I'm going to give you an example: an EU or US rapper who gets 100-500k views they manage to buy 200-300k USD cars, but I'm sure that in your country even artists where gets more than millions views is not able to buy such things. It's $$ diff.

Brazil still doesn't pay that much money on the Internet compared to other countries, for sure.

Besides, it's the same thing in Peru, it's the mentality that a diploma will add some "value", but what you see most are unemployed people with diplomas, since that doesn't guarantee anything.
But I'm sure if you had spent 4 years of your life DOING SOMETHING (acting, practicing) instead of just studying-reading theory, you would have far more results. (Even a shit course in Internet where you pay $100 can teach you more how to find costumers or something on your field, which college doesn't)
