I don't understand what the point is of locking him in a buyout so high no one would pay, did they just want to hold him at any cost? Cuz that just meant he would be stuck on their payroll regardless.

just orgs being overly greedy to be honest, those smaller orgs are pretty much just a pro player market, so I don't see them trying to keep their players locked -- maybe they just thought NRG had endless pockets

That's the thing, it's not just NRG. Multiple NA challengers finals teams inquired about him at different points, all got similar responses. Just have to assume they wanted him on their team, put through absurd buyouts to dissuade anyone from buying him out.

its just orgs thinking they can groom players to a good level and just sell them for high prices , didnt faze also do it with supamen recently??
just cuz sen bought out tenz from c9 doesnt mean every other org is willing to
i remember i saw someone saying the NA salary / economy was so fucked after the tenz buyout
