Some people here like that Hekzy dude keeps saying that Valorat only have more viewers than CS because of Shroud watch parties, as if CS didn't have anyone doing the same thing. Gaules is bigger than CS itself, but his watchparties inflates the number of CS viewers even more than shroud's.

In this image from today you can see that Gaules alone is responsible for almost half of the viewers of the entire tournament, to make it even worse, this is an international tournament, one of the biggest of the year with a BR team vs an EU team, and in the end CS has only 315k viewers. So basically what I'm trying to say is that globaly Valorant viewership already surpassed CSGO and it will become even more evident when Masters Iceland happen, the first Valorant international tournament.

All of the CSGO diehard fans excuses are over. "Shroud watchparties", "Higher tournament viewerships", and etc

Its gotten this way with most esports atleast on twitch (the only one im not personally sure on is LoL but its the same in dota and ow) Its the future of esports just riot managed to monitise their one within valorant

Yep, but the CS tournament organizers also monetize, as they sell the rights to transmit to gaules for a considerable amount of money.

On that note the biggest tournaments it may not be the case like TI is always bigger then Gorgc or bulldog in dota may be the same in valorant

maybe but that would be including chinese sites which are problimatic to count to say the least. All i can find is that for the finals on twitch it peaked at 1 million concurrent in the Last ti finals

Shround has a max of 80 thousand concurrent vierwers while the game of Valorant has more than 300k, meanwhile Gaules has 150k while CS also has 300k, so Gaules is half of CS while Shroud is a little more than 25% you dumb imbecile.

And not at all they amounted of a max of 120k, while Valorant had 350k peak concurrent viewers, Gaules makes a higher percentage of CS viewers, and in CS it's a world tournament while Valorant is a Regional tournament, 120k from 350 peak from an NA tournament, if its a global tournament it will 120k from a 500~600k tournament, wich is even less than 30%.

What is this a competition? Ok, maybe it is, but why make a big deal of it.
If you dislike Valorant, don't waste time in VAL forums, If you dislike CSGO, don't spend time in CSGO forums.

I agree, on your first point. Also not to be devils advocate here, but CS has lasted the test of time, and I think will continue.
And btw I don't play CSGO, I still play 1.6, it's a better game in my opinion, regardless of graphics, I have more fun playing it than CSGO.
You will always have the minority, who fanboy over one game more than another, but the more attention you give them, the more attention they will get.

My advice is, Ignore, or even dont reply to the troll, fanboy comment's, and chances are, people will forget they even exist.
