i did and ig it's fun + i really wanted to play the new lego star wars so yeah... i also wanted to play the pokemons so as long as you play with it it should be worth buying

I see, in that case I'd say no, not worth it dishing out ~400 to try just a game, if you're interested in other games for the switch then i'd be different

You can try breathe of the wild, Mario party to play with your friends/fam, other mario games, super smash bros, even animal crossing

Just a few games you might want to check out, good luck!

You'd be lucky to get a consistent +30 frames on the new Pokemon game and the graphics look awful but it is simultaneously one of the most fun Pokemon games I've ever played (aside from Emerald and Black and White 2)

If u only want it for Pokémon games, I’d recommend just getting a DS and playing the older ones. They are arguably a lot better and the ds is very cheap

i say it’s pretty good, but if you do buy it, be careful of the joycons because those drift hella easily, if you plan on using it docked to a tv i’d say buy a controller for it once the joycons start drifting. but there are really cool nintendo exclusive games that you can divulge in and experience

Or you could just buy the switch lite, its like 200 usd, I have one myself and it gets the job done pretty well
Ofcourse you can't play on a big screen but it saves you some extra money

Download yuzu and try some games to see if u like switch games. I see many ppl buy the switch and resell them cuz the graphics is not what they expect. The switch graphics is similar to ps3 lvl only
