You can't build an industry just based on honesty. This is why many people found cheated in old days

I would imagine this only is possible if you live in a country that officially recognizes being transgender or non-binary though, which is definitely not the case currently.

The tolerant US, Canada and Western Europe don't recognise trans and non binary ppl? Well obviously my country doesn't, but I thought you already were

Idk about other countries but I'm almost certain in the US, if you're trans, you can have your government documents changed from male to female or vice versa, but there's no special category for trans people or anything, and I'm almost sure there's not a non-binary option on official documents.

This is true, but many states require sexual reassignment surgery to change your gender on documents, and I think TN explicitly bans changing your gender on official docs.
