How is sdy a bad captain ? He definitely be performing better than boom in terms of fragging and calls. It seems to me that it's easier to blame the captain for the bad individual performances of the team.

Okay not performing in what sense ? All I remember was boom underperforming most of the time making the game a 4v5 . The reason why navi was able to win most matches was because 4 of their players were on their peak.

If that's the case they wouldn't have won a lan and got 2nd place in a major. It's just speaks volume of how the players are underperforming individually . Not to mention a good igl can't really improve a players performance if the players themselves don't choose to improve . All an IGL can do is invent strats and maybe motivate the players to play better but the performance of the players depends the individual himself. One good example would be Niko. I wonder why he hasn't won a single major given how many times he's been in a team with a good IGL. Speaks more about the player than the IGL or the team.
