c9 roles

one thing that made optic one of the best teams was their flexibility. fns played controller, sentinel, and initiators. 3 people on the team could play kayo. They could run 2 controllers and/or 2 initiators and role swaps were common.

for the new c9 team,

vanity- controller
leaf- duelist
xeppa- flex/initiator
yay- chamber/jett

a lot of people were speculating trent for the last, which would add an extra initiator. but that would leave vanity as the solo controller. a lot of the map pool has double controller as the meta (pearl- viper, astra. bind- viper, brim. fracture- brim/viper/omen (2)) i feel like a controller main player who can play some initiators is a better fit?

i think their next pickup will be a flex player

In the past they had leaf play viper so that would be a possible option, but its still a possibility that they get marved as well which would allow them to somewhat keep their roles

it should be trent/crashies, they don't have any pure initiator. leaf can play viper
