Ah ok. I think that a mix roster would not be so bad, you can sign the best player of more regions. But i think it's too soon to make this sort of speculations. Just wait the roster announcements and then we can see if they could make a better decision

It’s not dead…APAC even has 10 domestic leagues and I think like half are SEA. You’ll be fine

literally if these mixed rosters are actually made, we will stay a one team region forever, literally the only good mixed team is PRX, RRQ should go full info superteam, literally lmemore-flipjider-blazeking-tethbotle plus another good Indo player would make a world class team but for some reason they just don't wanna be at the top, which is sad

I am european so i dont know much about Apac Esports situation. But I think that having a mix roster is not a bad idea. I understand that it would be nice to have a representative team of your country with a roster made up of five players from that country, but I don't find it wrong to try to create a good mix with high level players. In Europe it has always been like this, there are few teams that have players all from the same country

2 of best SEA countries in valo might be gone to shits on T1 due to the orgs that represent them. it's concerning

It's okay if the players are mixed. But hopefully they get the best non-indo players. It would be weird if they choose non indo player but there are better indo players available.

the thing is TH and ID players have performed way better the whole last year compared to PH.

the thing on SEA is, language barrier is huge since only few have good english, even on PRX, minfreak said they have a hard time early on bc they can't communicate very well. And on SEA, nation pride is huge too, it won't do with mixed roster

Why'd you need worried that much? Another team will ascension and kick these 2 poor orgs tho.

This unknown RRQ was RIOT'S WORST CHOICE.... seeing that BOOM, MiTH, Alter Ego, Bren, Bleed & others were left out for RRQ to be franchised is at least absurd

i think a mixed roster eventually will be good because of the larger talent pool but right now the language barrier is really big and right now the teams being assigned countries that they should represent gives the country and the players and fanbase guaranteed representation on the international stage. also the rivalries between countries in sea is pretty big and people just would rather see superteams. i think riot going to the path of mixed rosters in the first year of partnerships is might kinda be a move that is out of touch with the sea community because it can screw over a lot of the representation

Tru. Idk why RRQ and Talon wants ph players so bad in their rosters. We rarely have good and even decent players here compared to other SEA regions.

Talon is going to represent Thailand ffs, they literally announced it. RRQ, I assume, wants to honor and try to give their PH players chances. Their PH team just won a local LAN, right?
