i tried this since i felt like my aim was for quite a while now. hopped on a dm, was hitting all my shots.
really dont know i feel like this is a placebo right? shouldnt val have raw mouse input by default?

Yeah it's total placebo
By the way don't enable Raw Input on val settings unless you have one of those new razer mouses with absurdly high polling rates, it won't change anything in the game

Might as well turn it on then, it loses you no value

its not a placebo. mouse accel determinates how far your mouse moves depending on how fast u move it, with it disabled the distance is always consistent. u can try it yourself, with mouse accel on move your mouse slowly from one side of the screen to the opposite one and see how much u have to move it on your desk/mousepad, then do it again but move your mouse really fast to the side.
also enabling raw input from val does the same as disabling the mouse accel from windows. it basically bypasses everything and the game itself reads the inputs instead of going thru any windows setting

idk windows decided to call it a precision enhancement when all it does is messing up your muscle memory

yeah im aware of mouse accel but its weird how valorant seems to not ignore this setting. i guess its a recent update from windows that valorant didnt take care of yet. dog move by windows to put this shit on default. anyways adjusting my aim is better now. :D

It does nothing almost every game has mouse accel off by default.
Turning it off only makes your mouse feel worse to use while browsing other apps

what does it even do ive been wondering for a while

i think its mouse accell

without mouse accel ur camera movement in game is linear to the mouse movement irl
with mouse accel ur camera movement increases exponential to your mouse movement

easily explained:
with mouse accel the more you move your mouse the quicker you turn. its really bad because its insanely hard to get good flicking with it since the flicking will be very inconsistent

valorant uses raw input and doesn't account cursor input at all turning off precision enhancement in windows does nothing for valorant
