do you guys believe we'll be able to do bootcamps in any region without having to phisically move in a near future because of new technologies like Starlink?

ps: i know it's not good enough now, i am talking about a near future

Not even Starlink can solve this, quantum physics has to develop even further for us to create technologies that can send data from distant points in the shortest possible time in a way that can be marketable to ordinary citizens.

can someone explain briefly what starlink is? My understanding is that its internet delivered by satellites but I can’t imagine that it would be high speed or low ping

well, Elon promised it would potentially reduce latency. not sure how serious he was though.

Starlink is honestly so expensive and while it is better than a lot places, it maxes at at 200mbps(most people will get like 50mbps) unless you get the business version which is max 500mbps(usually like 150 tho)
It's $110 a month and $600 installment fee for the hardware required.

It'd honestly just be more worth it to relocate imo

if it gets better in the future, it'll be useful for e-sports teams.

Yea it'd be nice for free-agents as well
If teams are good enough they should get the resources that they need from an org

well, isn't the one thing why bootcamps are even place that you sit next to your mates and can physically touch them (well, dont get me wrong, i mean fist bumps bro)? there is no point imo to replace this with lower latency via starlink

What region can't you do a bootcamp in right now that would benefit from starlink camps?

Technologically, a nice wired connection to the local AWS center where the riot servers are will ALWAYS be faster than a connection like starlink, even if there is extreme advancements.
