That's how the turret works

Trust me that is literally how the turret has been working since day 1 when Killjoy came out. I have like 300 hours as Killjoy and the 1 thing I've learned is never trust that fucking sentry.

Riot need to re-evaluate all my ranked games I would pretty much be Radiant by now if not for the turrent bug

how the turret works =/= how its supposed to work

FPX players aren't incharge of repairing bugs. Why should they be punished for the bug then

if all of the XSET players fell out of the map simultaneously due to a bug, should the round not be reset, even though by your logic FPX had nothing to do with it? the same logic applies here

Unrealistic analogy
I'm sure if all XSET fell off the map everyone would agree to a round replay without any hesitation

irrelevant - the same logic applies. 5 people falling out the map would result in the round loss for XSET, and riot decided that the turret bug had likely swung the round out of XSET's favor by providing misinformation, also resulting in the round loss for XSET, so they decided to do a replay

Logically correct != Sensible

None of the FPX players would oppose a round replay if 5 XSET players fell off the map. I'm trynna be realistic here but you're coming up with a very specific and unrealistically bonkers situation to prove your point

except.... it is sensible? not really sure what you're trying to say, but riot evidently decided that the turret bug had the potential to swing the round into a XSET win if it hadn't happened, regardless of what actually would have happened. I brung up the 5 players falling off the map because they're both logically and sensibly the same concept - in both rounds, a bug occurred that would have resulted in a possible XSET win

that otherwise would have resulted in a possible XSET win**

No, a better analogy would be like if Fade used a prowler which broke a Cypher trip and Riot started saying that that's a bug.

The onus is on Riot to make the features of their game to match their vision better than for players to predict what is and is not permitted by Riot without any context. Since this is now classified as a "bug," any time a player jiggle peeks a turret looking adjacent to that said player after it fires its first shot would be considered "abusing a bug" as it would literally replicate what happened in the tournament, which is the ridiculous predicament we're in right now. Anytime a player can't jiggle peek a shooting turret suggests it's not the players' fault but the game maker's...

not sure why im getting downvoted for this... if riot called it a bug and replayed the match then that means its a bug, regardless of how long it's been in the game. being in the game forever doesnt mean its not a bug

Just cause it’s always been bugged doesn’t make fine??

I agree with this but despite that the replay was a dumb decision. Several other teams have suffered bcoz of bugs and this decision opens up a whole new discussion of what rounds should be replayed.

(Replay that 100T v DRX round where the shock dart bugged and did 0 damage to the player who was 1 HP 👀)

therefore shouldve just been a buff
