so i am a flex play except duelist i play all roles
my play style very passive when i play controller and sentinel and i have aggressive play style on initiator role and yeah i play duelist in some matches but i cant top frag or help my team much like i create space for them and i die or it not going according to plan so i want to hope into that duelist role. so how can i do it? Suggestion pls

this game is all about confidence. especially as a duelist/entry
back when i was hardstuck i started playing reyna to become more confident. the dismiss gave me faith in my ego peeks. but what i realized was, even though my aim sucked, the pure basis of swinging someone with zero fucks given is more than enough to win the first challenge most of the time.

I’m similar to you in the sense that I flex all roles and I’m very passive. However, the way I think about it is that I want to die first on duelist. It doesn’t actually happen because I’m so passive but it gives me the initiative to be on site first and take space so I can get very aggressive. Just try to overheat on duelist because if ur actually very passive you won’t actually overaggress, you will just be as aggressive as you need to
i was totally similar style ......viper main flex player.....started playing duelist since around august.....i think 1st figure out which duelists suits you...like for me raze on icebox for sure...neon on haven(i left neon a month after it was released, now re-found that it can be played) ...etc etc....
- figure out ur preferred duelist agent according to maps
- try agents capable of getting a bit of info themselves independently like raze or neon
- get bit info from team then enter
- be confident in an aim-duel and while swinging
edit- take jett or reyna(especially reyna) only when you know YOU'RE THE BEST AIMER in ur lobby....coz otherwise u gonna get wrecked hard...especially reyna coz she doesnt have much in her kit
usually problem is the people who instalock the duelist ever since i started playing the game people started locking duelist every single time thats why i mostly preferred to play other roles and it became my main.but every time i play other than duelist i always enjoy the game lot idk may be addicted to controller and sentinels setup plays
