i think it's a bad idea. even though it'll shut up some of the silver shitters trying to justify bad takes, think about the other side of the issue:

imagine you (a rational person) posts a long thread about statistics or opinions. you expect the comments to focus on the content of your thread, but instead all they say is "dogshit [rank] player" or "spend more time in comp, bozo". there are some absolutely braindead people on this website that are immortal+ and all these ranked flairs are going to do is give them justification for their shitty takes and actions. instead of having baiters saying random/incohesive stupid shit to discredit your hardwork, it gives these people a built-in feature of the website to rally behind and spread toxicity in a much more streamlined fashion.

yeah i see this side of the argument. i think itd still be cool and somewhat funny to see the ranks of people making egregious takes. it's more of a joke addition to the site rather than a serious one
