I think it's not about the players but the game play level. After first strike FPX was definitely the best team in the Europe with NiP. There is also some difference of course. One map may not shock me, but if they win this series it will make me more than shocked.

This. I did not expected that split coming from FPX. Not saying that Guild is bad, just that FPX played soo slow and choked some rounds by themselves.
