It is clear that valorant esports is getting better and more alive with each event we have had, not to mention the increasing fan base the orgs are gaining from playing in this game which is getting increasingly popular across all regions. Maybe riot made it difficult for the orgs but still it doesn't add up.

some orgs are temporarily leaving, others had banked it all on franchising.

Orgs are leaving because not securing a franchising spot means they are stuck playing t2 tournaments which riot also announced no plans on yet

I can't wait to watch the games in bad timezone with... 2000 spectators. Less spectators than smaller cs tournaments such as DH Opens and Pinnacle cups. Teams are leaving because they realize the valorant bubble will burst. Also riot is aware that Source 2 will kill the game and is trying to rush franchising to lock the players/orgs in contract jail.

They will return once Riot announce some normal plan for the next year

But Riot hasn't done shit, so why stay and keep paying gigantic salaries to NA players for nothing in return?
