  • No progress in last 3 APAC tournis
  • First to get eliminated
  • No slots in upcoming APAC LCQs
  • Is this beginning of the end for that region?

Just give regions time.. Look at how JP improved exponentially in the masters. All the minor regions will surely improve with time.

I agree but for time being japan has a straight path to master, whereas SA teams need to get slots in APAC first then to masters, and their progress has been abysmal to say the least.
With franchising next year it will be even more challenging IMO

Well thats what our pros will get for being lazy and staying in their comfort zone and just ranting how people hates them and they (viewers) should be playing to know the pain of pros lmfao, instead of switching off social media and grinding in both ranked and scrims (most of the old pros are like this their is no logical explaination to not grind in valo and staying immo doing everything in a day except grinding rank, its just sad). But RGE's boss tweeted that 2023 will be bright for india and south asia according to riot plans.

don't get me wrong, I want SA teams to do well in Valorant but when I watch their games, it feels that players have no idea what is going on around them and lack complete awareness in critical rounds, I hope they can improve in time because u wont get many chances in esports especially with franchise teams from next year

1) lack of proper coaches from the start India and SA lacked coaches that not only just makes strats but improves players to not depend on strats with sleepy(now operating as a coach for vlt rn although the role hast been updated yet), eraser(looking for some roster changes because he knows GE isnt giving their fullest with this roster), YB (improving enigma, honestly I love yb out of all and how he made EG a team with great tactics) and many more to come we will see actual improvement in pro's mentality and all with the passage of time.

2) EGO, SA players especially Indian pros and to that tooo those players who are there in the scene for so long is destroying Valo scene. They lives in their comfort zone and dont try their hardest, for example vlt in previous apac stage 1 although they qualified and beaten OF but they didnt tried even theor half of potential, their star player deathmaker who is the best naturally gifted aimer in india imo was just playing 2-3 matches and 1-2 DM and thats all lmao this guy is sooooo much capable to become just as powerfull as prx jinggg if he tries even half of his potential dude literally puts 0 effor in and still holds the records of 47 kills in one map in the world. Same goes with other vlt member keep staying in immo, only vibhorr was the player that grinds the most and they removed him lmfao although mw1 is mechanically gifted too and grinds alot. Ge on the other hand have 3 individuals that grinds alot skrossi, lightningfast and skillz and just see how these three carries the team.

3) Mentality the easiest way to explain those shitty things enigma did in split was just because they fear losing and getting out of apac which they worked soo hard to reach, say copium or not but this thing is soo true in the end pros are humans and they have mentality, an igl should build good confidence in his team in the worst time but antidote crumbled in the pressure and they lost. While GE on the other hand just completely forgets their fundamentals everytime they play apac no trades etc also hellranger(ge's igl) makes starts on his own most of the time and they just dont work against sea
