the only apac team to get a slot would be bleed, rest of the spots would be taken by EU and NA orgs that will try and shift to APACA, dogshit ass system rito
Marty [#4]thats literally amazing for the players, would screw up a lot of full teams unless an org picks them all up tho
facts. some of these teams are either unpaid and or paid practically nothing. organizations will help a lot
EpicWolf [#7]with DRX, DW KIA, Zeta, Team Secret, CR, Edward Gaming (maybe).... I don´t think so...
DRX and DW kia prolly yes, others nope
Pink_Maldito [#9]And whats the problem exactly? The players will still be from APAC but backened by a bigger and richer org. SEA orgs are dogshit, X10 literally scammed their players.
agree with the first part but X10 is not even considered a big org in Thailand.
hansk588 [#14]even if the player would be picked up , it would be sad to see if orgs like XIA / PRX getting split bcz of this franchise thing PRX literaly the most fun team to watch imo.
idk about prx but xerxia just got take over by thai multi milion company 👍

the problem with this is larger than esports, it means that riot is allowing foreign orgs to come in and run the region without having an intrinsic interest in local talent and the local scene because they are only in it for the easy slot. it means that local orgs will basically have no chance to grow and become bigger and to stop being dogshit like X10 were because at this point, they are no competition for the bigger and richer foreign orgs. I get that it can be kinda cringe to say this and get more political into it but, this is literally the same in concept as colonialism, just on a smaller scale. I'm not saying if this happens, then it will literally be the return of colonialism because it won't, it's just a video game, but in concept, it is the same thing.
although I do agree that it is good for the players, it is not good for the scene as a whole

sweetdreams11 [#31]Ppl said jingg is going to miltary service and benkai is gonna retire?

Is their a particular age at which one has to go military service or it depends on individual?

even bleed's owner tweeted NA /EU orgs are coming
chloeburbank [#3]no source, but bodork said something like this could happen
Man, he is just speculating and even if international orgs come what is the problem in that as long as they are using local talent to build a roaster.

It's good for the players in the short time, in the long run i think it's better to invest on local orgs.
