I don't even get the point of LAN.

LAN is supposed to be on 0 ping. That is the entire point, to separate onliners from those who rely on mechanics how the game intends to be instead of abusing ping.

Mumbai event was still ok as you got close to LAN like ping (5-8ms). LAN in Chennai is just a waste of money and time as there will only be 5 days for players to prepare for APAC and potentially go to sing.

It just seems like this LAN is for showoff. Also there is barely a crowd.

Lan in chennai is to give equal scope for pakistani players.. And even the team qualifying for play in can play from chennai
