sorry for cs thread but 1 question before valo came out csgo didn't avg this many views

like even brazil and ru stream did not have this much viewership since valo came out I see br has so many views

what's the reason

I think Imperial team is giving a huge boost for br viewership, but also esports in general is still rising, sure valorant took a slice of the pie, but the pie itself got bigger too

Lack of tournaments with a crowd.

I think a lot of people in valorant watch CS but not a lot the other way around. So I think as Valorant grows CS is gonna grow too

Trust me we are very far from viewers peek

look at football, every one who is remotely interested in football watches matches

but in gaming only like 5% of valorant player base watch matches

so potential is huge and if done correctly esport and rocket go up in matter of 2-3 years

we all know that watching tournaments is very very enjoyable but alot of gamers dont know that yet

esports growth potential is huge especially with our generation, gaming in general pretty much exploded during covid season, not to mention i think twitch and streaming been more popular too.
