Remember when Yay played for andbox and was massively outshone by android, a player you definitely forgot about? maybe Optic was uniquely set up for Yay's success, I dunno.
People shit on d3ffo all the time for being a system player, maybe they should take a look around

L crowd

Smarter, maybe, but only cause the English don't make athletes go to College to compete lmao

Wow, you are so smart and correct. Obviously, the fact that D33fo has not been picked up outside of the Gambit system is proof that he was not a vital piece of the Gambit system

Kru is looking pretty rough lol. I really don't expect them to make it out of groups. It's also not impossible Furia Beat Fnatic, but it's pretty unlikely imo

posted about 2 years ago

I have Guild beating Optic in the opener and then loosing the rematch
I think Guild have the chops to take a lucky upset series but they most likely won't make it out of groups, sadly

How many more times will we have to watch the T's sit behind yellow and throw util at the spike before Icebox gets the split treatment

posted about 2 years ago

only one substitute is good but this is probably the worst single player they could be missing

posted about 2 years ago

I was a really big Heretics fan during First Strike, and their loss to Acend followed by the roster breaking up, the team going on to never be good again, and the whole coaching controversy, makes me feel some serious animosity towards the organization
I also really like Gambit, so even though I don't have any hate towards any of the Acend players, the team are the Villains of EMEA to me

posted about 2 years ago

I'm a massive Acend hater but their victory at champs was certainly deserved. They were gifted a win because of Vivo Keyd's one mistake, but they were so obviously improved in the games against Envy and Liquid, and then they played a banger series against the defending international tournaments in order to be crowned the champs.

Genuinely one of thew best players globally. Hope he finds a team that isn't a fraud

posted about 2 years ago

Idk man
The Heat playing in this game is not the same Heat that beat Acend at Champs, same goes for the whole team
The Cam Fiasco seems to have made both the teams and the players collapse like a neutron star

Maybe Guild will finally sell their Jersey's

posted about 2 years ago

You could build a pretty solid roster out of former ABX players, which is impressive for a team that has never been good. The following list of former ABX/NYFU players is not comprehensive: Yay, NeT, Poach, Mada, Mummay, JcStani, and Android.
Just mind blowing to me that a team that peaked #23 NA could have lost so much great talent

im p confident SEN's year is over
prob won't make it out of groups, prob won't make lcq
possible the org won't even make franchising, so this team may be done in valorant

posted about 2 years ago

this is a blatantly ridiculous thing to say and you should be embarrassed that you typed it out and sent it for the whole internet to see

posted about 2 years ago

also the recon phantom is butt ugly so definitely don't but that one

Banger tbh
unusual aesthetic but I dig "rich person lake house" which is on top of sounding great, and the most important part of skins to me is the sounds

My Tenz analysis is a little old bcus I haven't watched a lot of recent Sentinels but from what I have seen it's looked like even their current meager success is coming almost exclusively from Tenz
for instance the only reason they were able to even go 3 maps against LG is because Tenz dropped 40 on breeze

posted about 2 years ago

my personal (unordered) top 4 is Nukkye Derke Tenz Yay, and then I have three people floating around for that last spot
Zeek, if he could be classified as a duelist player, and then Heat and Mwzera, who are amazing but streaky

posted about 2 years ago

Imo Scream is not a top 5 duelist
his utility usage is just worse than every other top level player on every agent he plays

these are so good
NYFU perhaps?

Disregarding all the other stuff, I don't think Sinatraa is the player Sentinels need to improve. Sentinels Issue isn't, and never has been, related to player quality. Sometimes players need to be swapped in order to facilitate a shift in the culture/mentality/whatever, but bringing in a player who's only experience playing pro Valorant is within the Sentinels system doesn't seem like the best option.
On top of that, if the swap really is Zombs for Sinatraa, that royally screws up the roles. It leaves you with 3 players, Sinatraa, Sick, and Shaz who all want to play some kind of flex role, (I call this the 100 Thieves problem), and no natural smoke player.
Curious what other peoples opinion on this are

posted about 2 years ago

idk I just could have sworn I remembered someone important saying they were awarded based on regional viewership

posted about 2 years ago

I do not think that Sinatraa would be proven guilty in a court of law. I don't think that the evidence is enough to make him go to jail. I do think that the evidence is enough to prove that he should be excised from the valorant community.

posted about 2 years ago

My understanding is that slots are allotted based more on viewership than team quality

posted about 2 years ago

Not a single person is advocating for legal consequences. The bar for evidence should be much lower in the court of public opinion. There is definitive seeming evidence of Sinatraa committing a heinous act, he has done nothing except make himself look guilty in the time since, and has provided 0 refuting evidence. He, however, has lied about having refuting evidence. If you genuinely think that no consequences should befall anyone for something like this unless they are proven guilty in a court of law than I don't know what to tell you.

how about the fact that riot explicitly said he didn't cooperate with the investigation

i do support the idea that xerxia are still the "favorites" against optic, just because there seems to be a mental block in optics head when it come to playing against them. But I still think optic is the better team, if that makes sense

posted about 2 years ago

idk it feels obvious, to me at least, that neither time optic lost to xerxia they were playing at full capacity

So these are probably #1 and #2 teams in the world huh

posted about 2 years ago

and that would be my guess as well, but as I mentioned, I'd imagine that would invalidate the achievement of earning the VCT buddies from winning masters and champs

posted about 2 years ago

Does anyone know how pros get low ranked gun buddies? Jammpi uses a iron buddy on his classic, and Hiko was using a silver buddy on his phantom. I'm also pretty sure pros don't just get all the gun buddies for free, because otherwise the purple and yellow VCT buddies become pretty meaningless.

Smb really are the best team in emea holy shit
I'm really excited to see them in berlin

posted about 3 years ago

What an mental match
I think it would be a stretch to claim smb is definitely better than acend after this game, but I think this has proven that acend and smb are the twin hopes of emea at Berlin
I don't really have faith in any other teams to beat sentinels but i do have faith in these two teams
