Why are people trying to compare them, CSGO has 400k peak viewers for the first lan in over a year in semis and valorant never had less than 400k viewers during Iceland. Iceland is more popular than Cologne and it’s not even a debate.

People are too quick to say teams like andbox are top 5 after they place well during one tournament. People decided that GenG one of the consistently best teams in NA wasn’t good anymore because they had a subpar tournament

They seem pretty inconsistent like they either look like they can compete with the top teams in NA or they do shit like losing 13-0 to Envy. But with that aside they had impressive results in the tournament with having dawn instead of Spyder and they could be a tier 1 based off how they perform with their normal roster maybe in the next open qualifier

It doesnt feel right to put them in the same tier as teams like Soniqs and Renegades who all haven't done anything as teams. TSM has a talented roster and have shown results in the past, while they clearly are playing bad right now it doesn't feel right to group them with those teams.

2. NV (Consistently top in NA and competes with Sentinels)
3. V1 (Need to prove themselves by doing well in this tournament)
4. C9B (Played well in Challengers 2 but very few feats and haven’t been consistently good)
5. ABX (Same as C9B)
6. 100T (Always one of the top teams but haven’t seemed that great in a while)
7. XSET (Their new roster looks good and they played well in Challengers 2 but they need to prove themselves)

I think these are the clear top 7 teams in NA and all other teams would have trouble competing with them
