NA and their idea of coaching

The way NA handle coaching in pretty much every esport i follow is one of the main reasons why NA keeps being behind EU, KR etc.

While the coach in the best EU teams also tends to be the actual leader of the team, with authority and power, the coaches in NA usually get used like a analyst+. The Coach, in the mind of NA pros, should only talk when asked and give important information about their enemys like a robot. The thing is, especially SEN needs somebody who takes over the sterring wheel, and is willing to cut people who do not want to win over anything else.

The same thing always happened in CS for example. The Coaches that were thrown around in the NA scene were always these quiet analyst type guys (AdreN, Imapet etc...) Meanwhile the best teams always gave the authority to the Coach, like Astralis Zonic, Gambit with Groove, NaVi with Bl4d3 or Vitality with XQTZZ. This way of running a team is proven to be much better and we already saw that with the Guard who adopted that european coaching style.

optic cool and all but next masters if they verse gambit, fpx or fnatic i don't think they have much of a chance.
even though they had easier teams at masters I feel their run was a bit lucky, I had them losing to the guard, Xerxia, LOUD and DRX but whatever just my opinion don't get pressed

100T are using a lot of EMEA and other region strategies and coaching methods, Mikes doing a lot of fundamentals according to Derrek

I feel like that is just a slight exaggeration. We have seen The Guard apply the "traditional EU coaching formula", 100T have also been putting the work in and I feel like, the recent Shazam & Sentinels criticism (which is to a certain extent, applicable) has made us over-question NAs dedication and willing to put the work in to reach the top spots in International stages. I mean, ENVY/OPTIC have been making noise on International stage for a while.

Lets not make it about NA (region thing), it is more of a team culture thing.
