1 day ago : “omg zeta are so insane! They’re super underrated!”

After G2 win 2-0 : “Omg G2 suck I can’t believe they didn’t 26-0 them. Zeta are the worst team in the world”

It’s actually crazy how stupid esports/sports fans are and it shows everything is built off of narratives.

because the only thing zeta really has going for them is mechanics, strategically the team is not good

Yes? And mechanics are ultimately way more important than strategy at this stage of the game. Do you think the guard are as strategically deep as v1? Of course they’re not but they won due to having better players. Same with G2 in EMEA

the guard obviously has a deeper strategic pool than V1
also, they have a deeper map pool. there are my factors
not having a permaban can give you a better veto for the picks and bans and gives you a free ban because you can ban the enemies favorite pick and not your perma ban

guard coach said himself they are not that deep strategically, they focused mainly in playing a shit ton together for chemistry/fundamentals, v1 had a lot of strategic depth at the start of the season, hopefully guard have cooked something for masters, similar to gambit, two best teams in terms of chemistry/fundamentals doesnt matter if their strats get figured out, they will put up a fight always

the guard are good at strats though. are they this crazy smart team with these elaborate execs? no, but they have very clean coordination and decision making. Every play that each individual makes is well thought out and done for some reason in the macro.

zeta i don't feel the same about however. I feel that a lot of time they get lost in what they want to do in the mid round and how they want to exec a site. Often times util doesn't feel very coordinated other then big site hits, and sometimes rounds boil down to a player going hero mode and stepping up for the team. By no means a bad thing in a stray round here or there, but zeta rely on it too often and it costs them rounds sometimes.

What did you expect? Its the internet, every retard is allowed to voice their opinion and they say it so confidently with little to no knowledge, the average human is not very smart so expected, also esports fans/twitter users etc are living in their own bubble most of the time and are deluded af

this is not as common in csgo as in valorant tho, probably because csgo attracts older people based people and valorant they/them idiots who live in their fantasy world, same in league and overwatch, cancer communities

Tf does they/them have to do with this. You’re reaching a bit too hard

just explaining why I believe valorant community is like this, bandwagoners, the other day I said that even if zeta won they fucking suck which is true and got people who dont know anything about the game telling me they did good, thats an example of what I am saying, they have 0 knowledge yet speak so confidently about things its baffling lmao, probably most of them were hard stuck plats at best

Sorry but internet people/american internet culture make my blood boil, and since valorant is very american dominated unlike cs which is heavily european dominated, most valorant personalities are american wokes which I hate, thank god no wokes in europe and cs, I was thinking of stopping watching valorant twitter/vlr because of this kind of community

i hope you do realize those americans are "woke" because they actively want to change our country for the better. that's why so many of that crowd are very young, because they aren't part of the more traditionally-raised older crowd in that didn't have to deal with many of the issues of today. Trust me, i get your standpoint, and i do think plenty go overboard on that kind of stuff, but i'd be appreciative of people like that who actively want to improve society.

People would be more "appreciative" if they didn't try to cancel or shit on anyone who disagrees with any of their thoughts, and a lot of those thoughts are incredibly stupid. A lot of the crazy people in valorant sit in their twitter bubble all day and have no real human interaction and just yes man each other to death, then spew their nonsense all over VLR and Valorant twitter. Large majority of us are here to watch video games, not hear their politic bullshit. I don't blame people for not liking it cuz its annoying. I wanna see Scream click heads not twitter drama over some bullshit 24/7.

i get your point of it being too much but sometimes it just has to be brought up, i.e. big controversies like the jasonr stuff. In general i don't interact with valorant twitter because that just sounds like a cesspool of shit i don't want involvement in, but i definitely imagine your description of it being a political hellhole being right.

I mean stuff like the JasonR shit im fine with. Its valorant related and i think thats a reasonable thing to be upset over. But valorant as a whole is very popular with the super lefty twitter crowd and their takes 99% of the time on anything non valorant related is just not it. Most of the time it doesn't need to be brought up but they do just to farm likes on twitter for their 12 vtube watchers that like every post they make. But what people also forget is those freaks on twitter in relation to the general population of just about anything, make up a small fraction of the actual community and in general are irrelevant to an overall community sentiment or way of thinking.

I get their intentions but I think it isnt the way forward, you dont fix wrong with more wrongs, in europe we learned it the hard way thats why most people are very moderate both left and right, even tho its changing atm because ppl are upset about inmigration and becoming more radical but even then its understandable wokeness is that popular in your country, its corrupt to the ground so its hard to change being moderate but still pisses me off

Honestly the best thing to do is just never go on twitter. I dont touch that site for anything but sports and i dont see that shit at all. Makes life way more enjoyable not seeing people being turbo negative and hateful towards everything. Gaming twitter has always been a horrible cesspool of extreme left and right weirdos that dont touch grass and converse with real human beings outside of a computer screen, and their entire self worth is tied to how many viewers they get or how many likes their tweet has. Their opinions are irrelevant and the best thing to do is just completely ignore them and ur experience will be 100x better
