This is not some NA hating on Brazil take. I actually really love how competitive Brazil has become. However, I think a Japanese team winning is beneficial for the future of VALORANT. I think the more regions are competitive, the more international the esport can become. With Japan winning, hopefully this is just another step in that! I don’t think this game being like CS:GO with mostly NA, EMEA, & Brazilian representatives is the best. The more competition the better! Anyway, I am talking in circles.

TL;DR More competitive international competition (specifically in the Asian/APAC region) is better for the future of the esport.

Yeah especially if Brazil continue to underperform, they should probably get less representation, and send more teams from regions with exploding player bases

Yeah I don’t really mean that. What I mean is Brazil is already really good in a few top tier FPS esports (mainly CS:GO & R6). However, no FPS has really taken off in the APAC region that is also popular in EMEA, NA, & Brazil. I think the future of Brazil is really bright. I mean LOUD look insane. But having APAC teams like the game and do well? That will only make VALORANT & the esport better with time.
