I wish an org actually cared about game changers outside of it literally being good PR. Like someone needs to make a superteam to challenge them.

TSMX are closest and If they weren't choking, they would beat C9 yesterday . But somehow they lose to DIG

They get out in ro64 in VCT, giving them 20k every 3 months for being a sub par team makes no sense

game changers gives women a spotlight in a male dominated scene. with more exposure + tournaments w/ good prize pools, there will be more women in the gaming scene and that is the goal

already a lot more women and orgs interested in game changers so it's been working well imo, but definitely lots more room for growth

What’s the incentive to do this? All I see is the women complaining about getting yelled at by teammates, when I prob have had worse things said about me by ranked teammates, and I just mute them. Could just be me but ok!

there's already far more men who play than women. and no, its not getting "yelled" at by teammates, it's experiencing blatant sexism and sometimes even harassment during games. the goal is to get more women involved in the scene and create a better environment for them, which your argument does not counter one bit

more women in the scene -> wider talent pool to make competition more interesting. also, more women playing means more women watching which means a bigger audience for sponsors which is good for riot. it just makes sense to elevate a massive, historically mistreated and ignored demographic for so many moral and financial reasons.
